18 U.S.C. § 2257 Exemption Statement
The operator of this Service is not a “producer” (primary or secondary) as defined under 18 U.S.C. § 2257. The Service operates exclusively as an automated indexing and reference-linking tool. The operator does not produce, film, direct, or commission content. The Service provides automated indexing and limited technical processing of third-party metadata and references. The Service does not host, store, or control any third-party content and functions solely as a technical indexing and referencing system.
Statutory Basis
Pursuant to 18 U.S.C. § 2257(h)(2)(B)(v), the record-keeping requirements of § 2257 do not apply to persons whose activities relate solely to the transmission, storage, retrieval, hosting, formatting, or translation of a communication, without creating or producing any visual content or depictions, except that deletion of a particular communication or material made by another person in a manner consistent with 47 U.S.C. § 230(c) shall not constitute alteration of the content.
The operator’s activities consist solely of automated indexing, retrieval, and reference linking of third-party referenced content.
Third-Party Responsibility
Responsibility for compliance with 18 U.S.C. § 2257, 28 C.F.R. Part 75, and all applicable age-verification and record-keeping laws rests solely with the original producers and the platforms on which such content resides. Requests for § 2257 records should be directed to the respective producer or hosting platform.
Records
No Custodian of Records is designated by the operator, as the operator does not produce or maintain such records. No records under 18 U.S.C. § 2257 or 28 C.F.R. Part 75 are maintained by the operator.
Reporting Concerns
If you believe that any indexed reference accessible through this Service involves a person who was under the age of eighteen (18) at the time of production, please contact us immediately. We treat all such reports with the highest priority and will promptly review and deindex the referenced material.
